The increase will in most cases range between 5 and 10 percent. Sold under the trade name Ciba® TINUVIN®, these products are used in various polymer applications around the world. As previously announced by Ciba’s Coating Effects Segment, the products are also subject to price increases in other applications. “These price increases result from further significant rises in raw material and energy costs over the last few months,” said Olivier Pilet, Global Head of Ciba’s Polymer Products Business Line.
