Sappi Fine Paper Europe Sappi announces price increase for September Following a first price increase earlier this year for parts of its range of woodfree coated papers, Sappi will raise prices again in September for both WFC sheets and reels. An increase in the range of 5-7% should be supported by a continuously strong growth of worldwide demand for coated fine paper. It is paralleled by an ongoing up drift of raw material prices as well as costs of energy and logistics. This increase will be applied for European and overseas markets.
