CPhI China 2004 Held in Shanghai On June 15, CPhI China 2004 was held in Shanghai Guanghui Exhibition Center. Assistant Minister of Commerce Fu Ziying, officials of State Development Planning Commission, Ministry of Commerce and Shanghai Economic and Trade Committee, and officials from Consulate General in Shanghai attended the opening ceremony. The Exhibition was sponsored together by China Chamber of Commerce of Medicines and Health Products Imports and Exports and CMP Information, supported by Shanghai Bohua International Exhibition Co., Ltd. It was the forth exhibition in China. Area of the exhibition was 22000 sq.m, up by 30% compared with the previous one; Exhibitors at home and abroad amounted to over 550 enterprises, up by 20%, of which more than 70 foreign enterprises from 20 countries such as USA, France, UK, Germany and Japan, and regions. It was predicted that the exhibition would receive 13000 audiences, 3000 of them from overseas. Target of the Exhibition was to serve domestic and foreign enterprises, endeavor to provide convenient transaction platform for exhibitors and visitors to promote imports and exports of pharma-ingredients in China and relative international trade to attribute more to the health of people all over the world.
