Slim-Fast customers can order their favorite products, such as chocolate bars, snacks, pasta dishes, and the famous Slim-Fast milkshakes, directly from www.slimfastshop.nl. The new online shop is based on ePages´ e-commerce platform. ePages develops e-commerce software for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and hosting providers. ePages Software is designed to meet the business, technical and budgetary requirements of SMEs across the world, as well as the needs of multinational branded products. The implementation of the Slim-Fast Online shop was carried out by ePages´ channel partner e*cube B.V in Nijmegen. The entire implementation of the shop -- from the installation to the "go live" date -- only took one month. e*cube deployed the shop and integrated an ´eenmalige machtiging´ payment system, as well as additional business functionality such as post code verification. Since Slim-Fast decided to outsource their fulfillment for this project to S&H, and they set up a direct connection to the ERP system used by S&H. e*cube uses "Traffic Analyser" to allow Slim-Fast to generate very useful and timely metrics about the source of site visits and sales on the homepage, which helps them optimize marketing expenses on a real time basis. Finally, Slim-Fast uses e*cube´s Marketing & Loyalty tool to add promotions and special offers to the shop. One of the recent promotions was sent to over 500,000 Dutch leads. Each contact received a brochure that included a 20% discount coupon. Jasper Verbunt, Slim-Fast´s Brand Manager indicated, "We decided on ePages simply because the software perfectly matches our needs. One of our affiliated companies from Unilever/Netherlands already runs an ePages-based online-shop targeted at Unilever employees and they are very happy with the product.
