New OEM Elite Program from NI Provides Custom Products, Prices and Service

National Instruments, a worldwide supplier of data acquisition, GPIB and measurement and automation products for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), today announced the National Instruments OEM Elite Program. This program addresses the unique challenges faced by OEMs – such as getting products to market quickly and creating cost-effective applications for large deployment – by offering extensive benefits such as increased discounts, product customization and additional technical support.

“National Instruments is always looking for new ways to support our OEM customers and the challenges they face,” said Steve Johnson, OEM sales channel manager at National Instruments. “This new benefits program makes it even easier for OEM customers to integrate easy-to-use NI hardware into their products, shortening time to market and time to profit.”

As members of the OEM Elite Program, engineers can take advantage of special OEM pricing on National Instruments products as well as gain access to product roadmaps and information on the new technologies and features of upcoming NI products. In addition, OEM Elite Program members can benefit from periodic design reviews with NI design review teams to evaluate their systems and ensure maximum productivity from NI products. The design review teams can suggest alterations to save costs, increase efficiency, increase power or help incorporate new technologies more easily. Program members also receive notification of product changes with suggestions for alternative products when necessary.

“Access to our technology roadmaps is critical for OEMs to make intelligent decisions about their next-generation products,” Johnson said. “Through the OEM Elite Program, OEMs receive not only more attractive pricing, but valuable improved access to technical resources at National Instruments as well.”
