ARRI proudly announces the first ARRISCAN sales to DryLab in Oslo/Norway RRI Digital Systems, leading developer of film recording and film scanning systems, today announced the first ARRISCAN sales. The ARRISCAN has been publicly shown since IBC 2003 and has established a new scanning philosophy in the market. Bringing speed and high-level image quality to the market, the ARRISCAN has supported the digital intermediate workflow like no other filmscanner in the market. Client evaluations have started early in 2004 and the ARRISCAN has won by image quality comparisons in many facilities already. ARRI is proud to say that DryLab in Oslo (Norway) is the very first ARRISCAN client worldwide. The ARRISCAN is working in production since it has been delivered end of July doing full time 2K resolution work and for certain selected shots ARRISCAN is running in 4K mode to deliver max resolution. “The Chimney Pot Oslo AS decided to buy the new ARRISCAN from ARRI for several reasons. We know ARRI and their history,” says Bjorn Brudeli, Technical Manager The Chimney Pot Oslo & DryLab Oslo. “The picture quality is by far the best I've seen from any telecine/scanner. For The Chimney Pot Oslo AS speed is also an issue, and we're looking forward to their fast scan mode. Their plans for an optical pin registration are also a big advantage.” “Since the scanner was installed late July it has been in full production from day one. “ Kontaktinformationen: Arnold & Richter Cine Technik Elfi Bernt Product Manager ARRISCAN / CMS Email: EBernt@arri.de Türkenstr. 89 D-80799 Munich Germany Phone: +49-89-3809-1551
