China Hoped Indonesia to Actively Promote China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone Negotiation Bo Xilai, Minister of Commerce of PRC, met with Rini Soewandi , Minister for Trade and Industry, Indonesia and expressed that Indonesia was a big country in ASEAN, hoping that it could play an active role in promoting China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone Negotiation. Bo Xilai said that China and Indonesia were much similar in economy, China was a huge market and could enhance cooperation in many fields. The two countries were gradually closed on the issues of establishing China-ASAEN Free Trade Zone. The negotiation would be finally fruitful and achieve double wins to the satisfaction of both two parties. Rini said that development of China's economy in recent years was amazing. She thought that Indonesia should strengthen the cooperation with China to achieve mutual benefit and all-win to the benefit of our two peoples. She intensively supported to set up free trade zone with China and Indonesia would endeavor to push the negotiation of China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone. In the same day, Rini Soewandi led a delegation to attend the Indonesian Exhibition held in Beijing. The Exhibition "Trade, Tourism and Investment, more than 80 Indonesian enterprises took part in the Exhibition, exhibiting local agriculture products, garments, jewelry and arts and crafts like handbag. 6 enterprises from the two countries signed a cooperation memorandum in Beijing mainly in processing trade, covering rubber, palm oil and fertilizer processing.
