The Largest Private Enterprise in the World Decided to Invest in Wuhan On August 30, US Cargill Inc., the largest private enterprise in the world , decided to joint hands with Wuhan Alking Bioengineering Co., Ltd to set up Cargill Alking Bioengineering (Wuhan) Co., Ltd, engaging in a kind of nutritional food additive. Cargill Inc. planned to invest US$15 million in the first phase . It is learned that contract was signed on August 26 in Shanghai, and the share of Cargill Inc was 51% of the joint venture. Cargill Inc was established in 1865, whose headquarter was in US. the company mainly dealing in the sectors of farm produce, food, finance and industrial manufacture . In 2003, sales value of the company reached US$59.8 billion, therefore it was entitled as the largest private enterprises in the world by US Forbes.
