Daxian Telecom in Dalian Joints Hands with Korea Pantech to Build the Largest Mobile Phone Base in Northeast China Daxian Telecom in Dalian and Korea Pantech reached agreement officially on establishment of the joint venture of Daxian & Pantech, which would be the largest mobile phone research, production and supply base in North China. The registered capital is US$ 10 million, and total investment in the first phase of US$ 25 million. 70% share of the total investment was hold by Daxian, and 30% share by Korea Pantech. It is estimated the total production in 2008 would exceed 10 million units, which could meet with the requirement of mobile phone subscribers in China, Korea and overseas to the largest extent. Furthermore, they can expand the marketing and export through the base to drive up Dalian to become the giant of information industry in North China. It is learned that sales revenue of Daxian & Pantech could exceed RMB 8 billion after it is put into production.
