Supporting David Lynch's Initiative for the Berlin Tower of Invincibility

Tagesspiegel Berlin reports on the 5-Billion-Euro-Proposal of Raja Emanuel for an Invicible Germany

Berlin's daily "Der Tagesspiegel" reported on Dezember 17, 2008 about the porposal of Raja Emanuel Schiffgens to the German Government to invest five billion Euro into the infrastructure in education and health for the invincibility of the nation. The investment will include the necassary building of universities, schools and health centers nationwide and their continued operation.

Thomas Loy writes in a five column article with a grand picture of a Yogic Flyer under the head line: "Merkel shall save Yogi Project" the following:

And once again Angela Merkel has been called upon for help - but this time not by the banks. The "Maharishi World Peace Trust" puts its confidence on the support of the chancellor for the opening of a university on the Teufelsberg mountain.

Chancellor Angela Merkel has to decide now, if Germany wants to be invincible or not. The "Maharishi World Peace Trust", known for the art of "yogic flying", has written a letter to Mrs. Merkel. She should pleasse support the plan of a "Peace University" with a "Tower of Invincibility" on the Teufelsberg mountain.

Because the Local District Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf refused the building permission and the opposition prodeedings with the Senate also proceeded negatively, and now it became publically known that the Yogi-Flyers let the time pass unused for filing suit with the administrative court.

"Making Germany invincible"

"Making Germany invincible ist the responsibility of the Federal Government", says Maharishi-CEO Emanuel Schiffgens. Therefore the World Peace Trust thought about it and proposes that the Federal Government should now take the matter of a Peace University into their own hands. "We will provide the knowledge."

Schiffgens calculates the monetary requirements for the construction, the endowment fund for the professors, branches in all states as well as schools and health centers in the order of five billion Euro. Just a piece of cake compared to the 50 billion Euro the Federal Defence Ministry spends each year for an army which has not been able according to Schiffgens "to create the state of invincibility".

The Teufelsberg mountain strikes the Yogi-Flyers as the "ideal place", because it is high above Berlin and radiates silence. This is important for the 1000 students who want to free the world from violance, crime and sicknes through the dissemination of their knowledge. In November 2007 the celebrated film director David Lynch had personally laid the foundation stone for the peace center.

Giovanni di Lorenzo, one of the puplishers of the "Tagesspiegel" describes the responisbility of the paper with the following words: „Zwischen Sein und Schein kann sich eine Qualitätszeitung nur für das Sein entscheiden.“ - "Between Being and illusiveness a quality news paper has to opt for Being."

"Der Tagesspiegel" sees itself as the news paper for Berlin and Germany and is the most quoted paoer of the capital.
