China imported 51,205 units of autos (including whole sets of parts), up 8.2%, of which sedan autos imported are 35,554 units, surging by 33.9%,
According to statistics released by Customs, auto import continued rapid increase in 1Q. Import of autos and key components and accessories was US$ 4.092bn, up by 33.7%. Whole car import was US$ 1.559bn, rising by 29.4%; key component import was US$ 850m, roared by 56.8%, and car accessory import was US$ 1.683bn, up by 28.1%.
